Over the last few years we have catered several parties at this awesome location, Haviland Hollow Farm. We offer this insight to our catering friends because we believe it to be one of our areas’ BEST, and most underutilized rustic, country party venues.
The entire property and converted milking barn make for a STUNNING venue for large parties, and the adjacent white tent make it “intimate” enough for smaller parties as well. The owners are absolutely delightful to work with, and everything is in place for major parties.
For any parties with an equestrian theme, this family run, 600 acre property is unparalleled.
Next to the big white tent, the owner has an awesome Argentine “Parilla”, a huge open wood fired grill, and I have done a couple “Asada” parties, as well as a several pizza buffet parties there. The access is open, level and easy for mobile caterers to pull their rigs alongside the big tent, or alongside the BIG BARN…..a HUGE converted barn with “rec room” loft, modern facilities, and adjacent HUGE west facing sun deck, overlooking the 600+ acre farm, polo fields and amazing western sunsets over the hills of the southern Hudson Valley.
Grace and I have had such a wonderful experience working with the Ramirez Family and clients at The Haviland Hollow Farm, I thought it would be an excellent venue for all of our friends to be aware of.
